The Canon CN-E15.5-47mm T2.8 L SP Zoom PL/EF Lens joins the ranks of other Canon Cinema lenses that are engineered to serve the high-performance demands of the production community. This lens is designed to work with 4K-resolution (4096 x 2160 pixels) cameras. As a result, this EF mount lens surpasses the performance requirements of any HD imaging system.  It also offers compatibility with industry-standard Super 35mm-equivalent image format as well as APS-C-size sensors. In addition, the versatility of the PL mount version provides great flexibility for a production. This is because it allows the user to choose from several different motion picture cameras instead of being relegated to just one camera.
