The Red EPIC boasts 18 stops of dynamic range, giving you proper exposure even in the most challenging lighting situations. Additionally, this camera can capture 5K images from 1-120 frames per second in full resolution. However, it reaches a maximum frame rate of 300 frames per second at 2K. The Red EPIC also allows you to take advantage of an arsenal of features. These features include HDRx, wireless remote control, and modular design – without the burden of dealing with a large, bulky system. In fact, the Red Epic-X Mysterium-X Brain weights in at a mere five pounds. This makes it ideal for shooting in tight spaces, or for using handheld gimbals or drones.
