This filter is the ultimate filter for all facets of portrait takes, from intimate close-ups to wide-angle shots. It brings out exquisite skin tones, provides excellent contrast control, preserves rich blacks and prevents unwanted haze.

After being the first DoP to shoot a feature film with the Radiant Black^TM Filters, Matthias Bolliger, well-known DoP & Coach, about the Radiant Black^TM Filters: “Schneider-Kreuznach’s new Radiant Black^TM glass filters are soft-focus filters that use colored “sparkles” in the filter glass to create an analog film look while subtly influencing black levels and overall contrast. Combined with ISCOsphericals and their vintage coating, they defined our “back-to-the-90s” look and visually transformed the adaptation of the novel “A Man of His Class”.
